This type of glass fiber is produced with neat woven from two directions, namely horizontal and vertical with the same load strength. This type of glass fiber is often also called type (0°/90°) following the horizontal and vertical angles formed by the webbing which means that it is strong enough to withstand the load in both directions and weak in the diagonal or 45° direction. However, this type of glass fiber is still widely used and has been tested for its strength in shipping, especially the so-called WR600 (Woven Roving 600gram/m²) which is thick enough for 1 layer/meter. Another advantage of this fiber is the use of resin which is relatively smaller than Fiberglass Mat, which is 1:1 and this is a consideration for manufacturers of equipment and boats made of fiberglass for commercial purposes.  |
